FAQ
Can I pick up myself?
Most of our equipment is available for self pickup. Just give us a call to make a time as sometimes we’re out on jobs. We’re generally available 9AM to 5PM Mon-Fri & 9AM to 12PM Sat.
How long is the hire period for self pickups?
You get a full day. For example if your event is on a Tuesday, you can pick up Monday & return Wednesday.
What about the hire period on weekends?
You can pick up Friday (or Saturday) & return Monday.
Is there a bond?
No but you’ll need to supply a drivers licence for ID & customers are responsible for any loss or damage as the equipment is not covered by insurance.
Do you offer insurance?
No. Unfortunately the cost is prohibitive so you do need to make sure the equipment is kept safe & cover any damage or loss.
How do I pay?
We offer Paypal, credit cards, EFT or cash.
Is a booking deposit required?
Orders over $300 require a $50 deposit.
Do you have public liability insurance?
Yes. Just ask if you need a certificate of currency.
Do you issue tax invoices?
Yes. Tax invoices issued & all prices include GST.
Payments
- A 10%, non-refundable booking deposit is required upon booking. Balance payable prior to event.
- We offer Paypal, Credit & PayID for deliver/setup events. We also offer cash & EFTPOS for self-pickup orders.
Cancellations
- 90% refundable if more than 24hrs notice.
- 50% refundable for less than 24hrs but prior to hire start.
- 0% refundable after hire start.
Conditions of Hire
- Hirer is responsible for care of the equipment which is not covered by insurance. All loss & damage must be paid for.
- All care taken but no responsibility is accepted as a result of failure or unavailability of equipment.
- For marquee hires, no responsibility accepted for damage to underground utilities.
